Sun State Produce Sales
Family owned and run since its inception in 2003, Sun State Produce Sales is a privately held shipper of watermelons.
With their corporate office based out of Clermont, FL., Sun State grows and ships watermelons to retailers located throughout the US and Canada. Through long lasting relationships with our farmers, Sun State has maintained its ability to continue providing great quality produce through staying current with the latest technology, traceability and food safety measures.
As a member of the NWA, Sun State Produce Sales also supports the NWA-CHEP effort using high quality pallets in the transport of their melons.
About us
Co-owners, founders, and brothers, Danny and Billy Jones, are no strangers to the produce business. They are 2nd generation shippers having learned their hard work ethic and integrity from their dad, Dallas Jones.
Originally from Washington, IN, Danny and Billy relocated with their parents to Clermont as children and thus began their introduction to the produce business.
In 2003, Danny and Billy along with their sons opened the doors to Sunstate Produce. Since then, Sun State has seen tremendous growth and is well known in the watermelon industry.
